The reserve is internationally recognized for its far-sighted and progressive management of land and wildlife rehabilitation as well as productive community involvement.

The four exclusive luxury safari camps at Londolozi, Tree camp, Pioneer and Founders camp and safari camp, are secluded in dense riverine forest on the banks of the Sand River, in the northern section of the private reserve.
